As for having to have 2 separate surgeries, I'm so sorry about that...I know how much you wanted it to all be done at once, but as you already said, this is all happening as it is for a reason, and who would want to fight reason? ;o)

For the 1st time in months, I'll be firmly planted at home and in town this weekend, so if you need me to come visit and/or keep you company in Ann Arbor, I'm yours! When they finally got her home, her baby never smiled and sad to say, was very needy and very fussy for a very long time. Today she is 19 years old and a happy delightful young lady. Her Mom says she feels Ashley was such a difficult baby back then because she couldn't express herself any other way to say "I've been through so much, so many surgeries and needles and tests, so this is how I'm going to be to let you know that I have been through so much in my short little life". This may be what Gavin is trying to say. He has been through more than any adult I know as have you and your family. You are all still on our prayer list and our church's.
