Gavin continues to do well. Not much to say today, which is a great thing! The cardiac surgeon and the pediatric surgeon are still discussing surgery options. The hardest part of it all is having to move Gavin's pacemaker over to make room for the gastric tube, or so I'm told. Nothing ever seems to be all that easy with Gavin! Medically anyway. Otherwise he's such an easy-going little guy! Caleb and I got some cute pictures of him today. Hopefully I can get them on the site for you all to see soon!

Hope you are having a great day! Thanks for your prayers! God has blessed us with all of you!

Love, Alicia and Family

Alicia - glad to hear you made it home safe and sound. Mike and I enjoyed spending a nice, quiet Sunday evening with Gavin up at the hospital - he is so CUTE!!! It was such a joy to finally hold him! (He is beginning to be quite the little chunk!) The nurses took very good care of him, I made sure they were on top of everything!! :)

We'll see you Sunday! Love, Mike and Jill

Thanks for the instructions because I had no clue how to write one, hopefully this will work. I am sorry to hear about Grandma Doty. I am happy to hear you were able to go down and be with family for the furneral and that you made the trip safely. It is so nice to read about how well Gavin is doing. That little boy will be making it home really soon it sounds like. That will be so nice for all of you. Alicia & Joel,

We thank God you were able to go down and return safely from a large family gathering to honor and celebrate the life of your dear one - Grandma Doty. Wow! What a blessing that she had eight children. I can only imagine how many grandchildren and great-grandchildren she was able to enjoy in her lifetime.
While you were away, I went up on Friday evening with your mother and saw dear little Gavin. Joel was holding him and he looked like a picture of health with his big blue eyes looking at his surroundings while in his little (to match) blue and white outfit. You never would have known what that precious child has been through. Only when Joel opened up his shirt could I see his scars - what a little trouper. I also visited with Nolan. He was looking forward to his soccer game in the morning. Jacob was at cadet camp and Caleb was at a summer trailer with his grandparents.
You folks have been so blessed with such a handsome family. We are so blessed that God has given all of you to us. We look with joy to many more fine years loving and having fellowship with your family. We know God is with you and we continue to pray for Gavin's health and recovery. He is after all in the best hands - and as we know - with God all things are possible.

Love To All, Sharon

Dear Alica, I'm so thankful to hear that Gavin did finally cry & that it did seem he wanted to talk to you. I hope they can get that operation over soon and behind him. I'm glad you got to go to your grandma's funeral. I'm sure everyone was happy to see you considering the circumstances. I plan to call you sometime this week to get more of an update. Give my love to Joel & all the boys & a kiss for Gavin. I 'm praying for Gavin & all of you.

Love Aunt Jennie

Bless your heart for telling non-dweebs like me how to post a comment. We are SO excited for you. What a nice little turnaround.

Sorry to hear about your gram. You sure have had a tough time lately.

Glad to hear there is nothing medically to report. Hope you can just get that tube inserted and head for home. Won't the other boys be excited.

Thinking about you.
