Autumn is Here!

Although we woke up to 32 degree weather here today, which makes me think it's Winter.....BRRR!, Fall is here! Two signs that always let me know that Fall has arrived, even if the air outside tells me differently, are Soccer and Pumpkins!

Here are some pictures of our boys enjoying both!

Caleb LOVES soccer! He may not be the greatest player, by scoring lots of goals, but his heart is into it ALL THE WAY! He is a boy with TONS of energy and he loves to run. He rarely comes in contact with the ball, but he runs his little behind off the whole game long!

Nolan loves soccer too! He is hard on himself and not the most agile player, but he enjoys himself a lot! And, he is getting better each year!

Jacob isn't playing soccer this year. It's a good thing with our busy life, but I think he misses it, so maybe next year?

Here are the boys harvesting our pumpkins that they grew this year.

I think they did a great job!

I LOVE this time of year! Now, if only the weather would cooperate!

"While the earth remains, seedtime and harvest, cold and heat, winter and summer, and day and night shall not cease." Genesis 8:22

It sounds like your boys are great atheletes because they have awesome attitudes about the game. It is a shame that most of our pro atheletes can't remember what it was that got them playing the game to begin with when they were younger ~ the love of the game and not the money. As long as your boys have a great attitude and a love for the game, they will always be great atheletes!

What an awesome pumpkin harvest!! They did such a great job, and I'm sure it brings them great satisfaction to see their hard work pay off! They should be so proud of themselves!

I can't wait to take the boys to get pumpkins. I love fall but I hate winter, ugh. And I definitely can't wait for baseball season next year with my little superstar.

I love hearing about your boys. It's great to learn what great sports they are, even if they aren't the best on the field. They're playing because it's fun - the real reason to play!

I am extremely jealous of your gardens, and so impressed with the pumpkins! Amazing. :)
