Remember I told you that our Spring is all about sports? Here are a few of the pictures that I took of my Allstars this season, to prove it!

And, Gavin even got in on the sports! Here he is "playing baseball":
The season is winding down and even though I'm not a big sports person and I dread all the busyness that comes with all of our boys involved in sports, I have a feeling that I might even miss seeing my boys in action!
Speaking of baseball, it's 3 strikes and you're out, Right?! Well, if this is the case, then I am OUT!
Yesterday, for the third time in a couple of months, I locked my keys in my van! I can't believe it! I've never done this in my life and now I do it all of the time! The first time I was at the mall with the boys and my mom, and she had driven separately, so she and Jake drove to our house to get the extra van key. (Problem solved!)
The second time I was at the mall with just Caleb and Gavin, and I had just finished changing Gavin's diaper on the van floor. When I took him out of the van, I forgot to grab my purse, which had the keys in it! Everyone I knew, including Joel, was out of town, so I had to call a locksmith to get back into the van!
This time around I was at Target and had just put Gavin in his stroller, when a lady came and needed to get into her van, which was right next to mine, to put her son in his carseat. So, I quickly moved our stroller out of the way and shut the van door. As soon as I closed the door, I realized that I had not grabbed my purse from the van! UGH!
Joel says the next jewelery he's going to buy me is a necklace with a key on it! :)
Thankfully Joel's mom had just gotten home when I called her and she offered to come rescue me, by going to our house to get my spare key! I am thinking that this is a sign that I should not be out shopping! Either that, or I simply just need a vacation! Or.....maybe I'm just becoming scatterbrained and getting old?! I vote that I need a vacation! :)
Because it has been 3 strikes and I AM OUT!

At least you haven't done what I did. Once, when Jonathan was a baby, I was filling the van up with gas, and I locked myself out and him in! Ugh! Don't do that.
I can't believe that sports start when its still so dang cold and then end as soon as summer starts! Although Carter made allstars in baseball this year so he will be playing more. And we hope to get them into a fall league. Allstar tryouts are next Saturday which is our wedding in California. So our plan is to leave Carter and Mondo with my mom, and she will put them on a plane on Sunday, and we'll pick them up. I'm a little nervous though because they've never flown before and their first time will be alone!
I'm also thankful that my van doesn't lock until I push the button on my keychain, which means the keys are already out of the car!
Oh no! I like your husbands idea of a necklace with a key on it, LOL. I lock my van with the clicker thingy, so I can't lock my keys inside thank goodness.
I love all the sports pictures, even Gavin getting in on the action! How fun. :)
Having so many boys is FUN! I love all the sports. Hang in there...with all that is on your plate - it's no wonder you can't keep track of the small things.
So maybe you need a van like mine...with a key pad on the outside of the door...with a magic #, voila...your locked door opens!
Altho...then you would have to remember your magic#...
and well, I use my hubby for that! :)
All your boys are darling...I am so grateful Hunter decided NOT to do baseball this year...I seriously don't know how I would have possibly managed it with no husband around...very time consuming and with a sick child there were many times in the past it was too cold or rainy for Hudson to be outside!
I did miss seeing all the cute little boys in their uniforms though!
Oh boy...you're getting like me! Just to make you feel better, I'll one-up you in the "DOH!" category. I once locked myself out of my house and car...WHILE IT WAS RUNNING. Yep. Feel better? ;o)
The sports pics of the boys are great! For as much running around to games as you must be doing right now, I'd say your average trip vs. lockout isn't all that high. Ha!
Great pics!! Honestly, I think I'm tired after watching all those sporting events. How do you keep up with all of it?? I thought having one in track was enough to throw me over the edge...lol.
UGGGhhhh, locking keys in the car. Biggest pain EVER. I guess, you could look at it like this, you didn't lock your precious boy in, like I did my girl...gracious. Do you have a cell? My cell provider offers roadside assistance. Goes with the phone, so no matter what if you have your phone, they can bail you out. It's only like 1.99 or something like that a month...just a thought.
I vote vacation. Let's go together! :)
Looking at all those pics of your boys and their sports makes my head spin!
I had to chuckle at you locking your keys in your car three times. The first Winter Jeremy and I were married, I would go out in the cold morning to warm up my car. I'd let it run in the driveway. Three times in about three months, it ran out of gas, while it was sitting in my driveway, warming up. Three times! So, all that to say, I feel ya sister!
