I just wanted to give you all a visual of how chunky Gavin has gotten. I set out clothes for Caleb and Gavin this morning and told Caleb to go get dressed. I came in to check on him and found him wearing Gavin's jeans! Yes, he fit into to them! They looked like tight shorts on him, but he was able to button them and all! So, now you know how well Gavin has grown! Caleb is a skinny minny, but still! I had the best laugh! Just what I needed to start the day off right!

By the way, Caleb started preschool today! He was so excited! I felt a little sad as I left him. He is growing up way too fast! I know he'll love it though!

Have a great day!

Love Alicia and Family

How adorable that Caleb is! Glad that you were able to start your day off with a hearty laugh! Can't believe he's in preschool already. I'm sure it was hard to see him go, but is probably a blessing as well as you can have some more quiet around the house and some one on one time with Gavin. Glad to hear the walk went well on Saturday. Sorry we weren't able to make it. Hope to see you soon.
Love,
Kimberly

Ahahahaa! Oh man, I needed that laugh! The visual of Caleb in Gavin's pant (shorts?) was just what the doctor ordered! And Caleb is in preschool now? WHERE does the time go?? So proud... :o)

It was so wonderful seeing you all this weekend, and I'm so glad to know Gavin is back home with the family. Let me know if there is anything I can do!

I love you all tons!

Hello VanderWall family,
I am so glad to hear the good news that Gavin is home again. we praise God for HIS goodness once again.
I'm glad my kids are not the only ones who wear each other's clothes. :)
Your concerns as of late have been on my heart and mind and I pray for you often. I was reminded of a friend of mine several years ago who had a baby Born with spina bifida. She appreciated all the support of friends and family, but there were times when she needed to talk to someone who knew what she meant REALLY. She found great support and help from joining a "support group" in the area. I just wondered if you had considered that, especially after the walk for down syndrome this weekend. You know we are all there for you but most of us have not walked in your shoes. I'm sure other people would benefit from your experiences with Gavin as well. Maybe other people are afraid to "stand up" to the dr's and your input can help other people who may have similiar problems. Just a sugestion.
(When I was so sick with the last couple of pregnancies I had a friend who came over and brought me food that helped her when she was terribly sick with her pregnancies, it didnt' always help me, but it helped talking to someone who understood what I was going through.)
We are continually praying for you ALL!
