I'm gonna miss this...

The dreaded day has arrived. I have to send my boys off to school again! :(

I'm going to miss conversations with Jake, his helping hand with Gavin and his goofy humor.

Jacob begins 9th grade today! When did he get so big and become a handsome Freshman?!

I'm going to miss listening to Nolan practice piano throughout the day and his great smile and helpfulness.

Nolan is starting 5th grade today!.....Seriously?!

I'm going to miss seeing Caleb play with and read to Gavin during the morning hours, his goofy faces and his telling me that I'm beautiful all day long!

Caleb starts 2nd grade today! He is so excited.....but I am so sad!

I'm thinking that Gavin is feeling quite sad as well. He's going to miss all the extra attention that he gets throughout the day! Of course, he begins school again on Thursday and he is gone about 3 1/2 hours at school each day, so he'll get lots of attention there too! But, in a couple of days I'm going to be sad and missing Gavin too! :(

Happy 1st Day of School Boys!!! I love you and I'm proud of you! I'm going to miss you very much! Love, Mom

9th grade...really?!?! I remember coming home from CA to see him as a baby : )

All the boys look very handsome and grown up. I know for me its a mixed emotion of being proud at what a great person Rena is becoming and sadness that she is growing up so fast!!

Thinking of you today! Sending hugs!!!

xoxo,
Julie

I'm soon going to have a place for you to visit during the day if you want something to do while the boys are at school! AHEM. :o)

Love you all - give those big, smart boys hugs for me again! xoxo

Your boys all look super tall! Even Gavin. My boys are doomed, they have shorty's for parents!

Look at your handsome guys!

I so understand that mix of elation and sadness, but once you get back into the routine and they settle in to theirs ... what ever will you do with your time?Yeah, right ... people say that but bot does that 3 1/2 hours fly.

Praying for a great start for all and love to Gavin as he begins on Thursday.

Just blog hopping today and came across yours.

Love your school pictures - makes me think that I should have done back to school pictures!

My little 5 yr old son went off to kindergarten today. I was feeling very guilty over the decision (I am a homeschooler at heart and homeschool my daughter). But it was largely my husband's decision; so off he went. Initially I was feeling guilty, and then I was feeling guilty that I was relieved that he was going... and now I'm just relieved :)

Tomorrow he gets a picture! :)

Awww, Mama! I know you will miss them being around but they are growing into such handsome young men!

Sorry for my absence again but I have been checking in on you. It looks like you have been having some great fun in the last few days before school started!

I can easily tell that your older boys have wonderful spirits. Just seeing how they hold your youngest son, and their happy smiles. You have 4 wonderful boys! Heavenly Father has definitely picked the perfect boys to be in a family.
