MERRY CHRISTMAS!

We just want to wish everyone a Merry Christmas! We pray that all of you have a peaceful time with family and friends! We have been looking back to our Christmas last year and thinking about how thankful we are that this Christmas is shaping up to be a whole lot better than the last! We are so much more relaxed this year! Last year we were concentrating on Gavin's upcoming surgery and planning for the unexpected. Boy! We sure did face a lot of things we didn't expect! We ended up at the hospital on Christmas day last year.....this is where Gavin's and our long journey all began. This year we have SO much to be thankful for and so much to look forward to! As of now, Gavin is healthy and actually do quite well! Since we have been decreasing the amount of Phenobarb that he is on, he has been 'talking' to us more and he's been more active and awake! This has been such a blessing for me to see! He is also tolerating things in his mouth better! We haven't gotten to the point that he likes food, but he actually seems to like a pacifier in his mouth. Today he was even sucking on it! This is HUGE for Gavin, since he usually cries and gags on anything we try to put in his mouth. I feel like this is such a gift given to me by God! You have no idea how hard it is to have a child who can't or doesn't want to eat! It's just so sad. The progress he's made lately gives me such happiness and hope! He is such a precious little guy and I'm so thankful for him and our other boys!

Thankyou for the enormous support that you have been to our family this past year! God has blessed us with you! May you all have a very Merry Christmas! May all of you remember to look to Christ who gives us all that we may ever need!

Love, Alicia and Family

Merry Christmas VanderWalls! It's always good to be able to see the progress we make at the end of another year and recognize God's blessings, even in a time of struggle. Have a great day tomorrow and make lots of memories!

Love,
Annette, Katie, and Jonathan

Hey there :)

What was the best as well as most terrible movie of the year 2010 in your oppinion? For me personally it might have to be:

Finest: Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 1

Worst: A Nightmare on Elm Street

Thanks ! :) <3
