Gavin is sick.......again. He has a high fever and is feeling miserable.
I can't figure this illness out. It is nothing new to him. This happens every month, to a month and a half.....but what is it?
It starts out with him just behaving "off." He doesn't behave like himself and he usually looks pale for a couple of days before it begins. Plus, he has a few little seizures leading up to the start of the illness.
Then, he starts gagging, wretching and spitting up more frequently than he normally does. Next, comes a high fever, with lots of moaning and feeling rotten, plus lots of sleeping, but liking to do this in my arms.
His oxygen sats and breathing are usually fine during all of this, so what could this be?
Sometimes he has a few cold symptoms with it, but usually it's only these symptoms. Once the fever starts it only lasts around 48 hours. Plus, probably 9 out of 10 times, he is the only one to come down with this.
Obviously, Gavin has something going on in his body that he is fighting, but what could it be?
I'm praying that he is feeling better today, because I hate seeing my little man feeling so yuck! Gavin and I kindly ask for your prayers.
"Have mercy on me, O Lord, for I am weak; O Lord, heal me, for my bones are troubled." Psalm 6:2

Poor baby! I'm praying that Gavin will feel better today.
Poor sweetpea! So sorry he's sick! The only good thing is that you really seem to be knowledgeable about this trend, so the worry is maybe alleviated a little. I hope he'll be feeling better in a day or two! Love you!
